We are seeking an experienced Performance Specialist - Product and Supplier Management to provide data and insight to the Product and Supplier Management function. This role will drive visibility of key performance indicators and improved efficiencies across each operational area. The role will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining reports using the various analytical toolsets available to RS Group.
The role will involve some user upskilling so will need require a person who is able to deliver insight, actions, and training to various levels of stakeholders across Product and Supplier Management (P&SM).
This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to work on-site in Manchester or Corby x2 days per week.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist the Performance Analyst roles by translating and developing the business requirements.
- Report Creation, Maintenance, and Development.
- P&SM (Product & Supplier Management) impact analysis.
- Defined reporting for P&SM.
- Driving the data and insight strategy across various teams within P&SM.
- Providing data & analytics support, advice, and governance to your peers and management teams.
- Cultivate collaboration across P&SM teams which drives change and accountability.
- Connecting data across P&SM and other functions
- Creating solutions to standardise and automate lengthy business processes.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
About you:
- Experience and knowledge in analytical and Product and Supplier Management or Supply Chain roles.
- Proven track record of managing execution by planning and prioritising work which meets commitments and provides direction.
- Effective stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical capabilities and competent in interpreting and using data to substantiate decisions and drive others to make better and clearer decisions through relevant information.
- Product and Supplier Management minded, results focused, ambitious, creative, and confident. Able to translate complex concepts into clearly understood delivery plans.
- Culturally sensitive with the ability to operate effectively in a global business.
- Autonomous with an inquisitive manner.
- An excellent understanding of the technical business insight solution that RS Group has invested in, specifically Snowflake (SQL), PowerBI and how it relates to BW / other data warehouses applications and knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse 7.x and how it relates to SAP ERP and other legacy applications within RS Group.
- Experienced in using Business Objects Toolsets/Power BI
- Proficient in data extraction, manipulation and knowledge of statistics and statistical packages and languages such as SQL, Python
Desirable skills & experience we will be looking for:
- Certifications in relevant data and analytics technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Big Data Specialty, Snowflake, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) are desirable.
