We’re looking for a Production Shift Leader to join our team in Haydock. You’ll lead and motivate a shift team, ensuring production runs smoothly while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and support the team to achieve daily targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People).
- Run start-of-shift meetings and ensure clear communication across shifts.
- Monitor production flow, resolve or escalate issues quickly.
- Support training and development of operators.
- Maintain accurate production reports and SAP entries.
- Uphold 6S standards and complete stock/material checks.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience as a team leader (or acting team leader) in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus).
- Flexible to work overtime when required.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives (desirable).
- Health & Safety awareness essential; formal qualification desirable.
- First aid training (desirable).
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00 until 14:30*
- Friday: 06:00 until 11:00*

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.32 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
