Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing paperwork for and coordinate the machine shop in order to achieve most efficient and cost effective production Paying close attention to lead time and liaising with sales department if any problems occur. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes and the ability to utilise systems effectively to meet production demands.
Duties
- To generate work orders for machine shop and assembly
- Progress production in order to prevent delays in orders
- Progress factored items in order to prevent delays in orders
- Create daily schedules for machine shop
- Keep live production spreadsheet accurate and up to date
- Uphold all HSE guidelines set out by company.
- Assist Operations manager with any tasks delegated by them where competently trained
- Skills
- Good knowledge of computer packages
- Previous experience in similar role
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with internal teams.
