IWS Water Hygiene (WH), is part of SSI Services (UK) Ltd, a division of South Staffordshire Plc. IWS (WH) provides services in all aspects of water hygiene and legionella control including legionella risk assessments into the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial and retail customers.

IWS (WH) has offices throughout the UK and work is undertaken the length and breadth of the country.

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager for the South East region, the Planner / Scheduler is responsible for the planning, scheduling and booking of all site visits across pre- planned maintenance, risk assessment and remedial departments.

The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling works based on geographic location.
  • Ensuring in- field team workloads are scheduled productively each day in line with customer requirements and that work is executed as planned
  • Updating our database with site specific details.
  • Communicating appointments to site representatives in line with contractual requirements, by email and telephone
  • Creating job packs and ensuring the internal systems are up to date.
  • Communicating with both customers and IWS employees to facilitate first time completion of site visits.
  • Ad-Hoc administrative tasks as required


What you’ll need:

The successful applicant will need to have previous planning/ Scheduling experience, self-motivated, and have exceptional organisational and communication skills coupled with a strong IT literacy.

You will be working closely with the Area Supervisors, Operations Managers and Accounts Teams to drive productivity and ensure works are delivered first time and within SLA’s.

Experience:

  • Scheduling/ planning: 1 year (required)
  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (required)
  • Supply chain: 1 year (preferred)
  • Clean Water Industry working: 1 year (preferred)
