The Role
As our Supply Chain & Stock Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement of materials and finished products through the business. From managing supplier relationships to monitoring stock levels, you’ll help ensure our production runs efficiently and customer orders are fulfilled on time.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Maintain accurate control of raw material, component, and finished goods inventory.
· Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure on-time and in-full delivery from suppliers.
· Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transport scheduling and delivery tracking.
· Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve stock discrepancies.
· Develop forecasts and maintain stock levels aligned with production requirements and sales demand.
· Support supplier performance monitoring and escalate risks where appropriate.
· Collaborate with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business needs.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Skills, Experience & Qualities Required
· Proven experience in supply chain management and stock control, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with stock management systems such as CRM/ MRP/ERP software.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively and professionally.
· Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet strict deadlines. A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
· Punctual, reliable and a team player.
