About Us:
Tucked behind the church with a large garden area in the beautiful village of Charlton, our Preschool is a nurturing, creative, and community-rooted environment for children aged 2-5. We’re a close-knit team following a child-centred approach to learning valuing kindness and a love for early years learning. We run weekly Forest School sessions approx 18 weeks a year.
What You’ll Do:
- Help to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following children’s interest and each child’s development.
- Help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel happy and secure.
- Help to support our children with EHCP and or individual plans.
- Help to build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively as part of a small, passionate team.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with young children in a Community Preschool or similar setting.
- A caring, proactive, and flexible approach.
- Strong communication skills and a positive team spirit.
- A genuine passion for early years education and supporting children's development.
Hours and Contract Options:
Part-time role available (hours negotiable), Term Time Only
