Senior Preschool Practitioner
Term-Time Position
Are you enthusiastic about shaping young minds and leading a team dedicated to providing high-quality care and education?
We are seeking a motivated Senior Practitioner to join our Preschool Nursery team, providing exceptional care, support, and learning opportunities for every child who enters our nursery. As a small, homely nursery accommodating up to 24 children per session, your role will be hands-on, empowering children, staff, and parents to achieve great outcomes together.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Recognised Level 3 childcare qualification or higher.
At least 2 years experience of working in an early years role.
Sound working knowledge of safeguarding and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
Position Details:
Hours: 36 hours per week
Term Time plus an additional 72 hours per annum** outside of core hours or during holidays for planning, meetings, and organization.
Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional early evenings and Saturdays for events and meetings.
Location: Ashton-under-Lyne
Salary: £25,219 FTE Actual £21,65 Hourly equivalent £13.42
Salary will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
