We are looking for a level 2/3 in early years practitioner to work in our well- established preschool due to an increasing number of children The candidate will have a good knowledge of the EYFS and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The role includes planning and implementing daily activities for children aged 2 years until they start school, recording verbal and written observations and the care and safety of children in the setting. The candidate will also be required to plan some individual learning sessions for children with additional needs during the preschool with the support of the team and SENCO.
The successful candidate will also have a good knowledge of safeguarding and work well as part of a team.
The preschool is a term time setting and we are looking for a new member of staff to work a minimum of 16 hours per week and to be available to cover sickness . The working days required are Monday 8.30- 12.30, Wednesday 8.30 -12.30 and Thursday 8.30-3.30 plus sickness cover term time only. This would be an ideal position for a working parent with children currently at school.
