Job Description: Play Worker at a Afterschool Club
Start Date : July 2025
Contract: 11.25 hours per week (Term Time Only)
Hourly Rates: Depending on age and qualification
Location: St Mark's C of E School
The working hours will be Monday - Friday 2:45pm - 5:00pm. Term Time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan activities with the children
- Organise play areas, materials and equipment
- Give children the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way
- Encourage fair and caring behaviour among the children
- Encourage independence and self-esteem
- Ensure Safeguarding procedures are adhered to
All employees must undertake a DBS check before start date
