Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Play Worker to join our team at School's Out at Backworth Park. We are an out of school club based at Backworth Park Primary School providing engaging and fun activities for children. The ideal candidate must have experience working with children.
Duties
- Organise, plan and supervise play activities for children aged 4 years to 11 years old.
- Create a warm, homely, safe and stimulating environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, teachers and work colleagues
- Prepare a light snack after school
- Follow policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a childcare setting
- Level 3 or above qualification in childcare
- Knowledge of Playwork
- Excellent communication skills
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 2.45pm - 5.15pm, Term time only
