A Level 2 or Level 3 Play Worker needed for a fun after school setting , from Monday 1st September 2025
(Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is necessary for this role)
Contracted working hours are every Tuesday, every Wednesday and every Thursday each week, time only between 2.55pm and 6.10pm at a Play setting based in a school in Brislington (16-17 hours per week).
(Please understand this role is a permanent contract working Tuesday, Wednesday AND Thursday each week, it isn't shift work or short term work, we need committed team members for continuity with children)
(As well as the above permanent contracted hours, there is also OPTIONAL overtime during some of the school holidays to work at our holiday clubs Monday - Friday, either 5 hour morning shifts or 10 hour all day shifts which would make the role more all year round, if interested.)
Pay rate will start on £12.60 per hour.
You'll need to be reliable, confident, enjoy working with groups of children, show initiative and have a positive can-do attitude.
We are looking for a strong candidate and are keen to promote the strongest team members into more leadership roles.
You'll need to make sure that the children are kept safe, they play well and we provide them with a snack.

An enhanced DBS will be required and can be arranged if not already on the DBS update service.
Experience working with children is necessary.
You must speak, read, write and understand English as part of an Ofsted requirement.
Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is necessary for this role.
