We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dispensary Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. As a Dispensary Supervisor, you will ensure compliance with all regulations, manage pharmacy staff, and maintain high standards of patient care.
Duties
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
- Ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service by addressing patient needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Oversee the dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
- Maintain inventory levels, including ordering and managing stock to ensure efficiency in operations.
- Implement and monitor pharmacy policies and procedures to comply with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and medication management.
- Utilise IT systems for record keeping, inventory management, and reporting purposes.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new products, services, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, with prior managerial experience preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and patients alike.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to pharmacy operations; familiarity with electronic health records is advantageous.
