Part-Time Delivery Driver Wanted – Blackpool Express Chemist
Blackpool Express Chemist is looking for a reliable and professional Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team.
Hours: 2pm – 6pm (4 hours per day)
Pay: £12.30 per hour + full mileage allowance (all delivery costs covered)
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of prescriptions to patients’ homes. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate your own vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Deliver prescriptions with care, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Navigate efficiently to various delivery locations to ensure timely service
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues encountered
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times or changes
- Represent the pharmacy with a friendly, polite, and professional manner
Experience & Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle (essential) – mileage fully covered by the pharmacy
- Previous delivery experience preferred, ideally with good knowledge of local routes
- Full UK driving licence required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills for dealing with customers and team members
- Trustworthy and able to maintain patient confidentiality
