Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Delivery Driver to join our busy pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering prescriptions to patients at their homes, nursing homes, and GP surgeries, ensuring timely and professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver prescriptions to various locations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
- Maintain confidentiality and handle all deliveries in line with pharmacy regulations
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good working order
Requirements:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred
- Good knowledge of local area (advantageous)
- Professional, courteous, and trustworthy
- Must be able to use a smartphone delivery app
- Ability to handle deliveries with care and accuracy
- Flexible and able to work independently
