Job Summary
We are looking for kind and caring person to join our lovely team of carers so we could share our passion to support people in our community. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality personal care to clients in their own homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to implement care plans, and a commitment to delivering personalised care. A valid driving licence is essential for this position as you will be travelling to various care homes and clients' residences. successful candidate must be available to work every other weekend and a some mornings during the week.
Responsibilities
- Companionship and support, emotional support and promote social interaction by allowing clients to attend different activities.
- Assist with daily living activities, ensuring patients maintain their dignity and independence.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in home care practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and families.
- A valid driving licence is required for travel between clients’ homes.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.87-£28.17 per hour
