we are looking for a private carer to help my mum with her daily tasks as well as some domestic chores such a as keeping the house tidy.
Job Title: Personal Care Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living areas
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or caregiver preferred
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Understanding of personal hygiene and infection control practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
