Educate Excellence is a leading tuition centre based in Streatham, offering high-quality Maths, English, Science and 11+ tuition for children aged 5–16. We are seeking a highly organised, discreet and proactive Personal Assistant to support our Founder and Director across both professional and personal responsibilities.
This is a trusted and varied role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and can manage a wide range of tasks with discretion, initiative and care.
Key Responsibilities
Professional Support
- Provide daily administrative support to the Director across projects, meetings, communications and planning.
- Assist in diary management, meeting preparation, follow-ups and correspondence.
- Support with research tasks, document drafting, and project coordination.
- Liaise with staff and external stakeholders on behalf of the Director.
Personal Assistance
- Support with personal admin such as bookings, errands, travel arrangements and household coordination.
- Help maintain work-life balance through smart scheduling and clear prioritisation.
Bookkeeping & Finance Support
- Monitor and record expenses and receipts across personal and business accounts.
- Assist with invoice management, bank reconciliation, and financial record-keeping.
- Liaise with accountants and finance teams as needed.
Role Details
- Hours: 16–24 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Flexible – must be available during some weekday hours.
- Location: Hybrid – combination of remote work and in-person support at our Streatham offices or nearby as required.
- Salary: £28,500 per annum pro rata
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a PA, EA or administrative assistant, preferably supporting at Director/Owner level.
- Strong bookkeeping or financial admin experience (Xero or similar is a plus).
- Organised, reliable and able to prioritise a changing workload independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Discreet and professional with a warm and confident demeanour.
- Comfortable working across both business and personal life logistics.
