About the Direct Payment Holder
A bright and creative 12-year-old girl with Autism is looking for a female Personal Assistant to support her at home and help build her confidence and independence. She has a wide range of interests including anime, arts and crafts, the Nintendo Switch, YouTube, plush and figure collecting, and cats.
Hours and rate of pay
12 hours per month, £18.92 per hour
Location
Welwyn Garden City (AL7)
DBS/Checks
Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training
Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
- Safeguarding Children
- Introduction to first aid / Paediatric first aid
- Health and Safety / Moving and handling
What you would be doing…
The ideal PA will be able to adapt to changes in energy and mood, providing calm companionship when needed and engaging more actively when invited. A genuine enthusiasm for her interests is key—she loves to share her passions, watch and talk about her favourite shows, and be taught different arts and crafts techniques, including watercolour, crochet, and model-making.
