About the Direct Payment Holder
We are seeking a female Personal Assistant (PA) to support a delightful young lady with autism who enjoys life, loves meeting people, and has a range of fun interests.
Hours and rate of pay
£14.00 per hour + mileage and expenses.
Weekends: 5-6 hours (Saturday and/or Sunday).
Weekdays: 3 hours (preferably Wednesday).
Location
Watford (WD18)
DBS/Checks
Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training
Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
- Safeguarding Adults
- Introduction to first aid
- Health and Safety / Moving and handling
What you would be doing…
Supporting outings such as shopping, meals out, and entertainment.
Assisting with personal care (dressing, hygiene guidance).
Managing medication and preparing food and drinks.
Helping with household chores, including changing bedding.
Required skills and experience
We’re looking for a kind, flexible, and outgoing individual who can bring positivity and patience to this role. You’ll need to enjoy working with people, have a good sense of initiative, and be confident in supporting someone to engage in their favourite activities.
