We are looking for a Personal Assistant to the Private Doctor/Medical Director to work 4 days during the week between 9-3pm with one Saturday a month.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support a busy private doctor in managing both professional and administrative responsibilities. This role requires discretion, initiative, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role will be suited to someone with experience in a medical or private setting, who enjoys working in a fast-moving, patient focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
A busy private doctor is looking for a dedicated and trustworthy Personal Assistant to provide day-to-day support. This is a varied role that goes beyond standard administration — you’ll be the doctor’s right hand, helping to keep both professional and personal commitments running smoothly.
What the role involves:
- Organising a busy diary, arranging patient appointments, and managing daily schedules.
- Regular stock check
- Handling calls, emails, and messages with professionalism and warmth.
- Coordinating with patients, clinics, and professional contacts.
- Thinking ahead, anticipating needs, and bringing calm to a fast-paced environment.
- General House Keeping
The right person will be:
- Highly organised and able to keep on top of multiple tasks at once.
- Confident, resourceful, and able to take initiative.
- Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information.
- Warm, approachable, and a natural communicator.
- Flexible — no two days will look the same, and that excites you.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Understanding of online meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams)
- Management of invoices, receipts and reconciling payments
- Knowledge of medical terminology or experience in a healthcare administration (desirable)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Leeds LS8 2SQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Personal Assistant: 2 years (preferred)
