We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Officer to join our committed team at Alder. This is a key role in supporting the emotional, social, and behavioural wellbeing of our students, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn within our academic environment.

As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will work closely with students, staff, families, and external agencies to provide high-quality pastoral care. You will support individual students to overcome barriers to learning, help manage behaviour positively and contribute to a culture of inclusion, progress and respect across the school.

This is a permanent appointment which is subject to a 6-month probationary period. The normal hours of work are 36 hours per week, or 32.5 hours per week. (to be agreed at interview). The position is term time only. Additional holidays cannot be taken during term time.
