Experience with SEND, EAL and additional needs is essential, as is a good understanding of safeguarding, child development and the impact of socio-economic factors. Familiarity with case management, restorative approaches and inclusive pastoral strategies is important. A Level 3 or 4 qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
