Overview
Due to rapid expansion, we are looking to recruit 4 x firestoppers on a sub-contractor package, which will cover multiple contracts all over the UK. We are looking for PFP installers who have experience in Batt & mastic, fire doors, fire curtains and general plasterboarding. Price work is available and dayrates can be negotiable dependent on experience and location.
Birmingham, Worcestershire, Northampton, Coventry, Milton Keynes are upcoming sites. Guaranteed work for 2 years on these projects. Fuel allowance and training can be provided for the right candidates.
Duties
- Install fire-stopping materials such as batt and mastic systems, fire-resistant sealants, and cavity barriers.
- Apply fire-resistant compounds to seal penetrations and joints in walls and floors, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Ensure all installations meet current fire safety codes and standards.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to identify areas requiring fire-stopping solutions.
- Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure seamless integration of fire-stopping systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Must have:
- CSCS card ( required ) or willingness to obtain
- Occasional stay away
- Driving licence
- Willing to travel
- NVQ Level 2 PFP ( or proven industry experience)
- Proficiency in recording software such as, OneTrace and Bolster ( required)
- Own tools/vehicle required
- Experience in residential and commercial settings
- Vaild DBS ( Or willingness to obtain one )
