An exciting opportunity to join us as a Schools Administrator supporting our staff and students in a higher education setting during a period of maternity leave.
Working on-site with the administration team for Bath School of Design and the School of Art, Film and Media, you will utilise your strong administrative and organisational skills across our portfolio of creative programmes based at the Locksbook and Newton Park campuses. (This is a part-time, 0.8, Fixed Term Contract, covering maternity leave)
About the Role
The Schools Administration team is the first point of contact for staff enquiries and provides comprehensive administration services for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in art and design. You will work closely with your fellow Schools Administrators in supporting programme operation and delivery, financial processes, and student activities.
You will be line managed by the Schools Operations Manager and supervised day to day by the Schools Operations Administrator.
About You
- Good IT Skills, including the use of spreadsheets, word processing and presentation packages
- Ability to deal professionally, effectively, and efficiently with a wide range of verbal and written enquiries, including some more detailed requests
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks and/or requests at the same time
Additional Information
Salary: Grade 4, starting from £21,070 rising to £22,704 per annum (£26,338 to £28,381 pro rata)
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
