Are you passionate about process and providing the best administration support?
We are seeking a dynamic and process driven individual to join the Foundation to provide HR administrative support to the HR Manager and team. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and has experience working in a fast-paced work environment.
The role
This role provides administrative support throughout the whole employee lifecycle to include managing the attendance process, supporting the new starter onboarding process by uploading new employees to the HR system, compiling new starter paperwork, monitoring the pre-employment checks and actioning the leaver process. In addition, assisting the HR Manager with meetings as required. Providing an excellent standard of customer service, responding in a timely manner to HR queries from staff across the business whilst understanding and adopting HR policies and procedures and acting as an ambassador of BCFC Foundation.
In addition to this the administration team are expected to provide cover for each other therefore it is important that the role also understands and is able to support the financial processes including maintaining the Foundations bookkeeping system, preparing invoices and bills and supporting with documents for payroll. The administration roles must work together as a team and are key in terms of supporting all departments within the Foundation and being the first point-of-contact for all internal and external communications, supporting the efficient running of the organisation on a daily basis to ensure maximum efficiency.
The Team
The business administration team work closely together to support the Foundations strategy. The team prides itself on supporting the wider team with an excellent standard of customer service, responding in a timely manner to queries and acting as an ambassador of BCFC Foundation.
The Person
As a strong team player, you will be involved in the day-to-day activities within our busy department yet also remain focused on your own duties; this will require a need for concentration and quick turnaround of work when required. You must be highly organised and able to prioritise your own workload, often juggling a number of tasks at any one time. With previous experience of working in a fast-paced professional environment you will always maintain confidentiality.
The successful candidate will have previous HR administration experience with sound knowledge of IT including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. CIPD level 3 would be advantageous but not essential.
Your excellent telephone manner will make you a confident communicator at all levels, you produce accurate work and have an ability to check and deliver work on time, every time. A keen eye for detail is essential and punctuality and flexibility are key to success.
