We’re looking for a warm, reliable English tutor to join our small, friendly team at Clara James Tutoring.
This role is perfect if you enjoy variety in your workday, meeting new people, and making a real difference to children’s confidence and learning. You’ll be travelling between lessons in Aylesbury and nearby villages such as Stone, Haddenham, and Waddesdon, working with families in their own homes.
What’s involved:
- Tutoring mainly in the evenings and at weekends
- Preparing your own engaging lessons (we provide access to a large online resource library you can use and adapt)
- Building rapport with students and parents
- Supporting children with a range of needs — experience with SEND learners would be a real advantage, but is not essential
- Working with primary and/or secondary students in English
