We are an alternative provision supporting young people with complex needs. We're looking for a committed and knowledgeable General Tutor who will be able to teach English, Maths, and Employability to our students.
Responsibilities
- Provide tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop and implement personalised and engaging learning plans.
- Assist students in understanding complex concepts.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents as necessary.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors, staff and parents to promote holistic learning and development.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience teaching young people, especially those with complex behavioural or emotional needs
- Ability to plan and effectively deliver engaging lessons
- A calm, patient, and supportive approach
- Relevant teaching qualifications are desirable
Location: Basford, Nottingham
Schedule: 4 days per week
