Cheesemonger – Morningside (Permanent, 8 hours per week)
We are seeking individuals interested in all thing’s food and beverage, with a passion for customer service, to join our dedicated team at Morningside. We have an 8 hour contract available with opportunity for more shifts during busier periods and holiday cover as and when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Cutting and wrapping cheese
- Providing a premium service to our loyal customers assisting with product recommendations and pairings
- Tasting, checking and overall cheese care
- Preparing cheeseboards and ensuring quality service in our intimate cheese lounge
- General cleaning to ensure shop standards are maintained
What do we ask of you?
- Enthusiasm for the world of F&B and to learn about cheese (no previous knowledge is required, however it is an advantage)
- Flexible availability across days/hours a week – please discuss your availability further with the hiring manager during interview
- Previous retail and/or hospitality experience is desirable
- An energy and flair for providing exceptional customer service
- A self-starter and team player you’ll enjoy working as part of a small team
- Proof of right to live and work in the UK
