We’re looking for a friendly, food-curious person to join the Little Mouse team as a Cheesemonger. This is a part-time, customer-facing role with a mix of retail, service, and food handling tasks - ideal for someone who loves cheese, wine, and working with people.
Minimum 18 hours per week, lots of opportunities for more hours. Working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with the odd Wednesday and Sunday.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve customers with warmth and confidence
- Offer cheese and wine advice (we’ll train you!)
- Portion, wrap, and display cheeses with care
- Restock and maintain a clean, beautiful shop
- Support with prep for service and events
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or food (not essential, but a plus)
- Interest in cheese and wine - enthusiasm matters more than expertise
- Good with people and calm under pressure
- Reliable, tidy, and happy to work independently or as part of a small team
