FMServ offers a nationwide commercial property maintenance service, including 24-hour emergency call-outs and other small works.
Due to continual year on year growth, as of 2024 we employ over 70 employees across the UK and are expanding.
Job Description: Multi-Trader (Painting Skills Required)
We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trader with strong painting abilities to join our national facilities management team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and residential property maintenance, including small associated works, and be willing to travel extensively across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations for both commercial and residential properties.
- Perform high-quality painting and decorating, ensuring a professional finish in all projects.
- Complete small associated works, including minor carpentry, plastering, rendering, and basic plumbing tasks as required.
- Conduct general property maintenance, reactive repairs, and pre-planned maintenance.
- Undertake light grounds work and outdoor maintenance.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions using strong analytical skills.
- Ensure all work meets high standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Conduct property MOTs and void works as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in multi-trade roles, ideally within Facilities Management.
- Proven painting and decorating skills, with a portfolio of previous work preferred.
- Proficiency in multiple trades (e.g., basic carpentry, plastering, minor plumbing).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Valid, clean UK driving license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £36,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
