Paint Sprayer
Storth Ltd are a long established and expanding manufacturing company based near Carnforth in Lancashire. We design and make agricultural machinery for the management of slurry systems.
We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Paint Sprayer using single-pack paint. You will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to metal components for agricultural machinery with duties varying on a daily basis. Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Key responsibilities and skills:
- Prepare surfaces for painting to ensure all surfaces are smooth and free of debris.
- Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including spray guns and air compressors.
- Mix paint to ensure the correct consistency and colour.
- Apply coatings evenly and consistently to small parts, following company specifications and industry standards.
- Inspect finished parts for quality, remedying defects where required.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to achieve a smooth and even paint application.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure paint stock is ordered and maintained.
- Work independently demonstrating initiative and good time management skills.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
· Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Be flexible in work duties as cover may be required in other departments from time to time.
- This role requires manual handling and lifting of heavy items.

Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 5.30pm Friday 8am – 3pm.
- 42.5 hours per week.
