Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Mix paints and other finishes according to specifications or colour requirements.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Fabricate and assemble components as needed for specific projects.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the painting process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
Skills
- Proficient in painting techniques and finishes.
- Basic maths skills for measuring areas and calculating quantities of materials needed.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting trade.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
