Out of School Co-Ordinator and Nursery Support PART TIME 2-3 days per week

What is the purpose of the job?
To ensure that the highest level of service is provided to our customers, providing a professional and yet caring and nurturing service incorporating teamwork and values into the nursery.
What do you have to achieve?
- To care for children in the out of school club wrap around provision ensuring all children are looked after professionally, with a caring approach.
- Drop/Collect children to/from local schools in company vehicles.
- Plan fun, and creative, age appropriate activities for the children.
- Serve meals and snacks following food safety guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Follow timetables and room structures, receiving training where needed.
- Logging and raising any concerns with management team.
- Ensuring customer service is to high standards, following nursery procedures and policies.
- Ensuring parents are updated accordingly and reassuring them when needed.
- Ensuring Daily system updates to parents of their child’s day are carried out efficiently, where needed.
- Provide a personal and caring approach to all children and parents.
- Liaising with the Management team with general room administration.
- Ensuring planning is relative to the children and their abilities.
- General computer use is essential.
- Welcoming parents, children and visitors.
- Ensure all children are dropped off and collected from school safely and efficiently, following procedures.
- Communicating pleasantly and effectively in person, in writing and on the telephone.
- Carry out daily risk assessments, ensuring all areas are safe for the children.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties, keeping the nursery tidy.
- Any other duties requested by the Manager/Deputy.

Requirements
Current Driving Licence required.
Experience of looking after children
The applicant should be hardworking, creative, reliable, enthusiastic, fun and passionate about working with children. They should have a thorough understanding of the importance of keeping children safe.
The position is part time- 2-3 days per week Monday – Friday 8am-6pm, 51 weeks, hours and pay will be discussed at interview.
