Overview
We are seeking an experienced Optical Dispenser to join our team, minimum two years UK Optical dispensing experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs, ensuring they receive the best possible service and products. This position requires a strong understanding of optical lenses and frames, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their needs and preferences.
- Accurately dispense glasses and contact lenses, ensuring proper fitting and adjustments.
- Maintain knowledge of various lens types, frames, and optical technologies to provide informed recommendations.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Manage inventory of optical products, including ordering supplies as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dispensary environment.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Optical Dispenser or in a similar role, minimum two years UK Optical retail experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service are essential traits for success in this role.
