Education:
- Minimum: GCSEs (but not essential, all welcome to apply)
Duties:
- Listening to patients and give clear and effective advice
- Advise patients on suitable products and offers
- Applying our SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and following NHS procedures whilst giving patient advise
- Dispensing of various lenses
- Carrying out pre-screening and liaising with the optics team as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Taking measurements of frames ensuring accurate and comfortable fit.
- Supporting patients with collections and providing thorough after-care
- Managing the appointment booking system and ensuring all patients are offered safe and excellent experience.
- Aid in safe contact lens fitting trials and aftercare
- Administrative, financial and other supporting roles to ensure the day to day running of the practice.
