We’re recruiting for an Optical Assistant in our Galgorm branch. Our practice is equipped with the latest optical technology, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. We pride ourselves on supporting our local community, already having sponsored a number of our local sporting clubs.
We’ve got a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and our team consists of highly experienced professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing appointment bookings and telephone enquiries
- Assisting with frame selection and styling
- Frame fittings, adjustments and repairs
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for optical supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the optical practice
About you
Knowledge and abilities:
- Demonstrable experience in an optical role
- Experience in a customer-facing environment
- Experience of working to and delivering objectives and targets.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage time-critical tasks
- Basic computer skills (we will provide training on our internal systems)
Shift pattern: Thursday 9-5 & Friday plus Monday/Tuesday 11.30-5
Salary: £24000-£26000 pro rata, dependent on experience
