Volunteer Job Specification: Event Operations Assistant
Position: Event Operations Volunteer

Overview:
As an Event Operations Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in the smooth execution of DEEP HOUSE HUNNY events, assisting with logistical, administrative, and operational tasks on the event day and leading up to events. This is a hands-on volunteer position that offers valuable experience in event coordination and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Setup: Assist in face to face including online set up of event spaces, including organizing materials, setting up signage, decorations, and online social media work promotional material.
Registration and Guest Management: Help manage guest registration, including
checking in attendees, distributing event materials (badges, programs, merchandise etc.), and answering general event-related inquiries.
Artists Coordination: Support artists, music producers / DJs coordination, ensuring that artists are set up on time and have what they need during the event.
- Logistics Support: Assist with managing event flow, directing guests to the correct areas, and ensuring the event runs on schedule.
- Problem Solving: Act as a point of contact for any operational issues or emergencies, helping to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a positive experience for all attendees, addressing their needs or directing them to appropriate personnel.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure event safety protocols are followed, including crowd control, safety signage, and general compliance with event policies.
- Team Support: Work closely with other volunteers in the team or staff to support a collaborative and effective team dynamic, ensuring smooth operations throughout the event.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· A positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to pitch in where needed.
· Prior experience in event management or operations is a plus but not required.
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently as needed.
· AI knowledge preferable.
