Videcom Security is a long-established and well-respected CCTV integrator delivering public space Safer City CCTV systems. We specialise in installation, servicing, and maintaining cameras, wireless transmission and associated equipment.

With around 25 employees, we pride ourselves on having a close-knit team who are always there to help each other where required. We have a low turnover of staff, and our experienced engineers are always happy to share knowledge and techniques.

Videcom Security is owned through an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT), with profit share declared annually to all staff with a minimum of 12 months continuous service (terms apply).

Job description:

Office and Company Administrator

An exciting career opportunity awaits you at Videcom Security, a prominent public space CCTV integrator. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Office/Company Administrator at our exciting new Scunthorpe offices off Brigg Road.

In this role, you will be at the heart of our operations, handling a wide range of office and company administration tasks alongside a supportive assistant. From managing Xero Accounts, working with health & safety and our ISO 9001/14001 consultant & assessor, to coordinating training, maintaining company records, and liaising with various stakeholders, your responsibilities will be diverse and essential to our success. Other duties will include:

· Providing telephone and email contact with customers, suppliers, and engineers

· Managing the reception area, including welcoming customers and guests

· Organising meetings, scheduling appointments and overseeing catering during company events

· Supervising administrative staff, designing office workflow, assessing staff, and providing feedback to improve internal performance

· Data entry

· Working with suppliers & customers, purchase order and sales order processing

· Creating travel itineraries

· Managing personnel records and compiling payroll data

· Working with Directors and other senior staff members

· Managing aspects of our quality systems, vehicle fleet, trade memberships and accreditations

This is a full-time office-based position, working 9:00 - 5:30 Monday to Thursday and 9.00 – 5.00 Friday.

Requirements:

Essential:

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and IT literate

· Previous office administration experience in a related role such as Office Assistant, Receptionist, or other relevant position -

· Exceptional leadership, organisational and time management skills

· Presentation skills and customer services knowledge

· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

· Knowledge of accounting procedures such as bookkeeping and other general financial procedures

· Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping other people

· Confident working with computers and have good typing and telephone skills.

· Knowledge of computer programs used in daily office administration functions such as word processors, spreadsheets and specialised office management tools

· Proficiency in filing and paper management, including the ability to manage business correspondence and the ability to handle confidential information

Preferred:

· Accounts data entry, Xero

· Health and Safety administration

· Experience of working within the security industry

Videcom Security is an investor in staff, with options available for training and skills development, these may include assisted college placements or fixed duration vocational courses.

Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 p.a. depending on experience and qualifications.
