They are currently seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic School Office Administrator to join their dynamic team as soon as possible.
The Role:
As a School Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for parents, students, and visitors, providing efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office. Your role will involve handling enquiries, managing records, and supporting the wider school team in delivering excellent service to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for all school visitors, parents, and students.
- Managing telephone calls and responding to email inquiries in a professional manner.
- Maintaining and updating school records and databases with accuracy.
- Supporting school staff with administrative duties, including handling correspondence and scheduling meetings.
- Assisting with school admissions, attendance tracking, and student records.
- Ensuring compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Organising and distributing communications such as newsletters and notices.
- Handling financial administrative tasks such as invoicing and petty cash (if applicable).
- Supporting events, trips, and other school-related activities.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in IT and administrative systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in an administrative role (experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly, professional, and approachable attitude.
- An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding in an educational environment.

Pay: £120 per day
Hours: 08:15 - 16:00
*The post is to cover a maternity leave, however there are a lot of opportunities within the school and there will be an opportunity for a permanent contract for the right person*
