Essential criteria for the job is:
- A sound knowledge of Sage accounting system
- Confidentiality
- Own transport to get to and from our office as there is no available public transport
- Capable of working in an open plan busy office environment
Desirable criteria:
- A knowledge of Xero accounting system
- A knowledge of CIS tax system and reverse charge VAT for construction
Duties include:
- Inputting of all supplier invoices into accounting system
- Inputting stock sheets into job costing system
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Checking and paying supplier invoices
- Collating staff timesheets and preparing for forwarding to accountant
- Raising and sending customer invoices
- Setting monthly payments due to staff on banking system
- Answering phone and taking messages
- Ordering of workwear, PPE and stationery
- Posting mail
- Any other duties that can be reasonably expected
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
