About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and proactive Office / Admin Assistant to join our small, friendly team. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is highly organised, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
You'll be supporting both the day-to-day running of the office and assisting our sales and management teams with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Administrative Support
- Creating and updating customer/supplier records in Sage
- Entering purchase invoices and matching them with delivery notes
- Managing office supplies and general upkeep
- Coordinating company vehicle records (MOT, insurance, tax)
- Monitoring mobile phone and desk phone setups
- Organising staff holidays and tracking expenses
- Supporting company events and internal communications
- Assisting with grant applications and general admin tasks
Sales Admin Support
- Preparing quotes and following up with customers
- Updating CRM and sales tracking systems
- Ordering promotional materials and managing stock levels
- Helping organise exhibitions and related logistics
- Supporting travel planning and documentation (flights, visas, etc.)
- Assisting with basic content creation for social media
Additional Support
- Providing general assistance to the Managing Director as needed
- Flexibly supporting the team across a range of business functions
What We're Looking For
✅ Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
✅ Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
✅ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Great communication and time management skills
✅ A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
