Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role involves monitoring entry and exit points, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing excellent customer service while upholding the highest standards of safety.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the entrance and exit of guests to ensure a secure environment.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems.
- Identify and manage potential security risks or incidents, including loss prevention.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age verification and capacity limits.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the wellbeing of all patrons.
- Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services as required.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, interventions, and any relevant observations.
- Assist in training new staff on security protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Certification in First Aid is highly desirable.
- Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent observational skills to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations effectively.
