Located on the banks of the River Thames with uninterrupted views of Marlow Bridge, Weir and All Saints Church, you'll find the world-renowned waterside property known as Macdonald Compleat Angler in the heart of Buckinghamshire. Dating back 400 years, the hotel takes its name from Izaak Walton's eponymous book, published in 1653. The hotel is a hub of social activity, home to 64 bedrooms, two restaurants and five event spaces. Location is everything, and there are plenty of reasons to indulge in this picturesque part of England; fishing, rowing, boat trips, family gatherings, romantic nights away, or a place to stay when attending significant calendar events such as Pub in the Park, Henley Regatta and Ascot Races.

As our Night Porter, you will be vital in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests. Outline Job Description:
· The supervision & security of the hotel between 11 pm and 7:00 am
· To manage the smooth running of the night audit procedures and reception back office
· To carry out Reception duties arising out with the regular working hours of the reception staff.
· Personal protective equipment to be worn/used in line with company guidelines.
· Post all income and guest charges not processed during the receptionist’s shift.
· Compile complete supporting documentation relating to each day’s business to be passed to the Accounts Department.
· To check all balancing of daily business posting and monies received and processed by a reception.
· Ensure conference and meeting rooms are consistently set to the company standard and all essential work is completed by 7 am.

· To carry out hotel night security & car park patrols at the agreed times.
· Ensure only residents are on the premises once all functions have finished.
· Ensure the hotel’s public areas are clean and tidy during the shift.
· Report any maintenance defects to Management immediately
The role will involve working evenings and weekends due to the nature of the operation. There will be opportunities for the right person to develop and progress within the business.
Salary: £11.44 per hour - £12.00 per hour
