Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to elderly residents in a care home setting and able to administer medications .
Duties:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
- Supervise and support care staff in daily tasks
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Administer medication as prescribed
Skills:
- Experience in senior care and familiarity with care plans
- Proficiency in IT systems used for documentation and communication
- Knowledge of working in a care home environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate staff
