About the role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our team at Newgate Lodge Care Home. Due to the residents' needs, this position needs to be filled by a female. If you have a passion for caring and want to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, we’d love to hear from you! No experience? No problem – we provide full training and support to help you develop in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and mealtimes
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
- Work as part of a team to create a warm and caring environment
- Follow care plans and ensure residents’ dignity, choice, and independence
- Ensure compliance with CQC and Local Authority guidelines
Who We’re Looking For:
- A kind, caring, and patient nature
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Previous care experience is preferred but not essential

Shift Pattern:
You will be working 12-hour shifts when you are allocated/select shifts. You will be expected to work weekends as well as weekdays. We have a rota management tool which enables you to see at least 4 weeks in advance of available shifts. Additional shifts are available to cover annual leave and sickness.
