Who we are:
We’re a small (but growing) Brighton based bakery bringing seasonal Scandinavian sweet and savoury pastries, breads and cakes to the South East (and beyond!). You’ll find us at the Brighton Open Market every Saturday (where our journey began) and now our bakes feature on the counters of many of Brighton & Hove’s favourite cafes.
We do things the traditional way (all butter, no nonsense) but our team is the secret ingredient and now we’re looking for one more to join us!
The job…
Fill the streets of Brighton with the delicious smell of fresh Scandinavian baking.
● Bake our signature pastries, breads and cakes to perfection (and in the correct quantity).
● Work the ovens like a pro (or be ready to learn).
● Prep doughs, fillings, and toppings so the production team can hit the ground running.
We are looking for 3-5 shifts per week, so do please apply if you either want full time or part-time work, as our requirements are flexible.
We’ll give you full training - but if you’ve juggled a busy oven schedule before that’s definitely a bonus.
You’ll be great at this if…
● You’ve got a can-do attitude.
● You’re detail-obsessed - no wonky buns on your watch!
● You can keep track of hundreds of buns without using your fingers to count.
● You’re happy working solo at night but still love being part of a close-knit crew.
● You’re a night-owl and 7pm-3am shifts suit your natural pattern.
