Further information
You will assist in implementing the Authority's Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy and assure council contract holders by providing a landlord's presence on the estate and create a sense of security, particularly for more vulnerable tenants.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join an established Neighbourhood Support Worker Officer Team as part of the 24-hour Neighbourhood Support Unit Service based in Townhill. You will assist in securing secure council properties by the installation of alarms; the use of hand-power tools and other equipment will therefore be required.
You will also respond to emergency situations where required. In addition to carrying out foot and mobile patrols on council estates, your role will include the provision of written incident reports which may be utilised as part of court proceedings. You will also promote good relationships between the Council and its contract holders and to provide information on services and support available to contract holders.
