Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and experience in various trades, enabling them to perform a variety of tasks efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and functionality of our facilities, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Duties
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs across various facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Install, maintain, and repair fixtures and fittings as required.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring they are safe to use.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times while on site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tradesman or in a similar role across multiple trades.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.
