Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills in various trades, including joinery, general building, roofing, plasterboarding etc. This role requires a hands-on approach ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The successful applicant will be a proactive problem solver, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
- Undertake a variety of tasks, ie plasterboarding, installing plywood lining, studwork, insulating to roofing voids, installing cavity closures, a wide range of jobs.
- Carry out roofing tasks, including installation and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other tradesmen and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Collecting materials from merchants or other sites using company tipper/van.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, etc.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- A valid driving licence is A MUST. Trailer experience helpful.
- Willingness to undertake further training or certifications as required.

Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
