The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Motorcycle Parts, Workshop, Clothing, and Accessories Advisor. The ideal candidate will coordinate customer workshop bookings and manage our clothing, parts, and accessories department. Prior experience in retail/customer service is essential, and a background in motorcycles will be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize online systems to source and look up parts for customers.
- Provide accurate pricing and quotations for workshop jobs.
- Manage workshop jobs, ensuring customers are informed about the progress of their bike or parts.
- Order and book out accessories, clothing, and parts efficiently.
- Assess customers' needs, advise on the safest fit, and provide sizing for motorcycle apparel.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in-person, via email, and on the phone.
- Maintain a customer-first approach in all tasks.
- Raise awareness of our diverse product and service offerings.
- Greet all customers warmly and introduce them to relevant staff members.
- Using both phone and email to communicate with customers.
Essential:
- Interest and general knowledge of motorcycles.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Effective teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- High motivation and strong work ethic.
- Strong writing and numerical skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Quick learner, able to pick up training swiftly.
- Reliability to both our team and most importantly, our customers.
Beneficial:
- Knowledge of motorcycle apparel.
- Basic understanding of motorcycle mechanics.
- Experience in motorcycle parts/clothing sales.
- Personal experience as a motorcycle rider.
- Certified experience in clothing or parts sales.
Working Hours:
- Tuesday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
- Flexibility for occasional changes in schedule due to events or staff holidays is advantageous.
